Dania Yadago grew up in the Middle East before her family made their way to the United States as refugees. Dania’s family lived in extreme poverty and often faced severe persecution for being followers of Christ, in an area where less than 2% are Christians. Dania learned from her bold parents what it means to risk it all for Jesus and bring every need in prayer to Him. In the midst of spiritual darkness and the daily struggles of poverty, a stranger sent a shoebox gift to Dania through Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Christmas Child. This simple gift allowed her to experience God’s love in a tangible way.
Years later, Dania connected with the ministry that once impacted her life. She now lives in Charlotte, North Carolina and serves with Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child. She is thankful to come full circle and passionate to share God’s faithfulness through her story as a National Spokesperson for Operation Christmas Child.
