Ryan has been privileged to be a part of the Chick -fil-A family for 27 years. His connection with Chick-fil-A began as a member of Truett Cathy’s Sunday School class at the age of 13 and then officially as a Team Member at a local Chick-fil-A restaurant at 15. Ryan has spent time as a Chick-fil-A restaurant Team Member, Interim Manager, Grand Opening Supervisor, Home Office staff member, and of course as a Raving Fan customer. You could say Ryan proudly “bleeds peanut oil”.
Over the course of his tenure, Ryan has lead emerging leader, pipeline, and Operator development teams and programming.
He is currently a Sr. Training Manager on Chick -fil-A’s Field Development Team. This teams focus is to support Chick-fil-A Franchisees in their efforts to grow their leadership capacity and sustain exceptional business results.
Ryan's life mission is to “help others to reach their God given potential by being a resource for them on their journey”. His greatest joy in life is to partner with individuals to realize the reason they were created and encourage the pursuit of that purpose with all diligence.
Ryan has had the privilege to present Chick-fil-A’s leadership and business strategy overseas in the countries of Romania, Thailand, Kenya, Ukraine, Jordan, and Canada. Ryan has also presented domestically to many organizations including Delta Airlines, Home Depot, AFC Worldwide Express, Tennessee Baptist Convention, Florida Baptist Convention, Morehouse College, and Student Leadership University.
He is a graduate of Truett McConnell University (’94) and the Berry College (’96) where he was a WinShape Scholar.
Locally, Ryan serves as President of the Parent Board of Crossroads Christian School, on the Endowment Committee of the Georgia Baptist Convention, and he and his wife lead a Married Couples Bible Study group at New Hope Baptist Church.
Ryan has been married to Beth for 15 years, are proud parents to Andrew (13), Susanna Glory (10), and Jennings (7), and Nathanael (5), and lives in Fayetteville, Georgia.
