Kaitlyn was raised in Plant City, Florida, but recently moved to Orlando to work full time for SLU as the YPS Program Coordinator. Kaitlyn was called into full-time vocational ministry in High School and during college, pursued a degree in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. For the last three years, Kaitlyn has served in multiple roles on a local church staff as a Student Ministry Administrative Assistant. During that season, Kaitlyn yearly attended Youth Pastor Summit in Orlando and was always encouraged and refreshed by this event. She is excited to serve youth pastors across the nation because she has personally experienced the need to be refreshed, encouraged and challenged in Student Ministry.

As a student, Kaitlyn attended the SLU 101 Regional event in Atlanta, GA and SLU 201. Because of her experiences there, she believes “Leaders are Readers” and you can find Kaitlyn, in her free time, reading a book in a coffee shop or on an airplane as she travels around the country, exploring new cities. Kaitlyn loves spending time with teenage girls, learning their stories and investing in their life. She believes one of the best things she can do with her time is investing in the lives of the next generation.
