We are emerging from the long dark winter that was COVID-19 like someone stepping from a dimly lit room into a bright sun-shiny day. Standing in the rubble of what the pandemic left behind is a bit strange, a bit like the first day of school for the kid that just moved from out of town. For many it can be a place of fear, anxiety, uncertainty, burnout and the list can just go on and on. But for the redeemed it’s a place where love makes a God-blessed future POSSIBLE. At LIFT Tour '22, we are discovering all the possibilities of what could be for the glory of God … that is, for those are willing to rediscover a truth from the past: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.

What do groups do during the Saturday afternoon break?

Saturday afternoon is your free time to plan wIth your group! Many groups use this time for team building, recreation, or service projects. In some of our cities, we have found service project partners that ask for volunteers. If volunteer projects are available, all group leaders will receive an email with information on how to sign up!

What can I expect at a LIFT Tour date?

At the LIFT Tour, there will be four Gospel-centered messages that cater to both middle and high schoolers, high energy worship, built-in, optional time for small group discussions, and a weekend experience that will inspire your students to be the best version of themselves, leaning into who God created them to be.

Is there a deposit for Ignition?

Yes. The $25 per person non-refundable deposit holds your group's spots. The balance of $30 or $35 per person must be paid by October 30th to keep the $55 or $60 rate depending on your initial registration date's rate.

After October 29th, the price will increase for all to $65 per person.

The per-person rate is the same for all attendees-- students and leaders.

Who is an "adult?"

Anyone over 18 years old who the church identifies as a chaperone, volunteer, or part-time/full-time staff member. Adults are always $25.

What is the Ignition Conference Cancellation Policy?

Regardless of reason, cancellations and transfers cost Student Leadership University. To offset these costs, the following fees will apply. In fairness to others, we cannot make exceptions. 

 

Cancellation Fees:

  • October 29th or earlier: Deposit will be lost (Deposit may be transferred to a new registration for the current year and same program but cannot transfer to anyone currently registered)
  • October 30th or later: 100% of the total cost of the program will be forfeited

Payment deadline: A deposit of $25 is due at the time of registration. All remaining balances are due October 30th. Any registration not paid in full by this day will increase by $5-$10 per person depending on original registration date and price structure. Registrations after October 30th will be $65 per person.

 

All credit card payments will incur a 3% processing fee. This fee will be added to your account and automatically charged to your credit card within a week of initial payment.

Who should come to a LIFT Tour event?

Students in middle-high school, youth pastors, youth workers, educators, and teachers. This event is designed for students 6-12th grade who are unfamiliar with church, regular church goers, and those passionately pursuing their Savior.

How do I place the T-Shirt order for my group?

A couple of weeks before the event the Program Coordinator will send you an email with a link to a Google Sheet. Once you receive that, please put in the sizes of the shirts that you need for your group. You can make edits to that document until the Wednesday before the event, as there is sizing availability.

After that, any changes to your sizes or quantities need to be emailed directly to the Program Coordinator.

When you check-in at registration, we will have your shirts ready for you! 

I have small children, can they attend with me?

We think families are great, and time together is important. Yet, this event is only for middle and high school students and their adult leaders. We want everyone to have the best experience possible at this event, so please make arrangements to leave your children under 10 years old at home or arrange for childcare while you serve or attend the event.

What is the history of the LIFT Tour?

For the past 18 years, the LIFT Tour (formerly Leadership Rocks) has provided Student Leadership University with the opportunity to influence tens of thousands of students to maximize their impact with gospel-centered preaching, worship, and a focus on leadership development. The LIFT Tour provides platforms for students from across a community to gather together in a singular location from differing backgrounds, denominations, ethnic groups, churches, and schools to worship Christ and be challenged by Scripture.
