Sara Lynn is from Jacksonville, Florida and experienced SLU 101 in the summer of 2009, followed with SLU 201 in the summer of 2011. While attending SLU, Sara Lynn learned the importance of a Dream and how to attain it through a Vision with direction by setting Goals with a deadline. Therefore, her Dream of helping Human Trafficking Survivors will come to fruition soon via a Non-Profit.
Sara Lynn graduated from the University of Central Florida in May 2017 with a Double Major in Political Science with Pre-Law and Legal Studies and a minor in Sociology. While at UCF, she was the President of the UCF chapter of International Justice Missions, The David Boone Human Trafficking Study Scholar, College and Chair for the Greater Orlando Human Trafficking Task Force, and was selected for the UCF Legislative Scholar Program where she was an intern for the House of Representatives. Sara is currently working as the Executive Navigator to Dr. Jay Strack with Student Leadership University.
Due to the passion that Sara Lynn has toward being an advocate against Human Trafficking, she enjoys speaking to students about the dangers of becoming a statistic in the Human Trafficking world. She enjoys time with her family, serving others and seeking God in every facet of her life. Ephesians 3:20 has become her anthem, “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.” God has placed a drive within Sara Lynn to be a strong advocate against Human Trafficking and she is using the skills she learned from SLU to help her in this endeavor. She is seeking her passion that God has placed in her heart to advocate for victims of Human Trafficking. Along with being an advocate, Sara Lynn loves Netflix and binge watching Gilmore Girls.
